I don't do resolutions, no reason really, I just never have been into the hype of a new year. Perhaps it's my distaste of having to pick out a new calendar at the store (which I have yet to do) and then having to trudge home and re-write everything from the old one onto the new one. Such a pain, really. And until my printer can magically whip up a fancy bound calendar I won't be using my computer like most average people do these days. Blech.
But all of this doesn't mean that I don't have goals for the new year. One major goal being to make it through this horribly cold winter and finally get to shed the coats and gloves that have never been my friend. So for your viewing pleasure today I'm going to share with you my never ending, not close to being finished, will be edited as I go along, list of goals for this new year.
- re-do the kitchen
- make a nursery out of the dumping grounds spare bedroom(yuppo due in July, Thank the Lord!!!!)
- complete knit and crochet projects for Christmas presents (way before December, lol)
- Chickens
- garden
- get back on track with the whole flylady system
- figure out how to pay off a nasty student loan, blech
- get my book out to agents
- sell handmade stuff online
- get my dog training business back on track
- finish one afghan for ourselves!!!
- start on fencing and re-doing the goat hut
- re-do all the other rooms in the house (since we just moved I have yet to make our home ours... quite a task I have there)
- build a studio for crafts and writing in the spare basement room
- get some sleep
Ok so this list is sorta vague, but I figure I can share more details as I get to each task. And it's defiantly not a complete list. As you've noticed none of it is on a personal basis. I believe that stuff must be taken up with God and not just jotted out on the spur of a moment blog. Trust me I have lots of personal things to work on and tons of spiritual needs as well.
The next question might be how in the heck will I get any of this done being pregnant?! Welp the secret I believe is planning until things almost complete themselves.
I'd love to talk longer on all of these, but it is time to get dinner cooking and to put the laundry away that's been glaring at me from on top of the couch all day.
